The Integrated Marketing Manager serves as the holistic strategy and program lead for cross-channel brand and product marketing campaigns.  Their responsibilities surround aligning business/commercial goals, product vision and brand vision under seamless and consumer-centric marketing programs.  They deliver meaningful, sticky campaigns that resonate and engage our core audience while bringing new consumers into the Funko fold.
 
The Integrated Marketing Manager excels in both consumer marketing strategy and detailed project management.  They are responsible for managing the seasonal marketing calendar to ensure the right balance of storytelling for our various audiences.  They pull from a variety of inputs to craft strategic marketing briefs, build clear and actionable project plans, and lead across teams and priorities to execute, later delivering reporting and insights that will inform and guide future programs.  
 
Equal parts strategist and project manager, the ideal candidate can analyze data and insights to inform the plan, while also understanding human truths that serve as the backbone for meaningful, sticky marketing activations.  They see the world through a consumer lens and create programs that resonate with the right audience, at the right time while guiding the channel marketing functions as they build into the holistic strategy.  They are tapped into pop culture, fandom and the modern media landscape, always pushing through and pushing forward while bringing others along.
 
The ideal candidate for this role is a natural collaborator and communicator, able to lead through influence and balance priorities of multiple teams.  They excel in fostering open and progress-driven dialog, always seeking creative solutions in a complex and dynamic business environment and a multi-layered, multi-regional organization.  While their work focuses on campaign management, they also support the strategic scaling of programs and processes, sharing best practices, tools and templates with partners across regions and across the Funko brand portfolio.
 
Your Superpowers in Action
 
  • Develops and manages the Funko seasonal marketing calendar organized by type of program and level of priority
  • Writes strategic, insights-driven marketing briefs taking inputs from various functional areas and collaborating on the final draft across stakeholders
  • Creates and collaborates on campaign goals and KPIs that deliver against business, channel and fan growth/engagement goals
  • Serves as project management lead for assigned programs; develops schedules, manages timelines and communicates inputs, outputs and deliverables across the project team
  • Takes an integrated, cross-channel approach to telling stories that resonate, resulting in engagement, changing consumer perception or direct-action steps
  • Partners across key functions of the organization (including product marketing, DTC, licensing, wholesale, social media, influencer marketing) to build and bring campaigns to life
  • Communicates clear status updates, issues and risks to leadership as well as working team members
  • Facilitates cross-channel activation brainstorms and regular planning meetings to deliver omni-channel campaigns that resonate with our target consumer groups
  • Manages agency partners, as needed, to strategize, concept, plan and/or execute programs or program components
  • Leverages project management tools and creates standardized templates to enable scaling of work, including localization across international geographies
Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry
 
  • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience driving integrated marketing program strategy and execution for a multi-channel brand
  • Skilled storyteller with a strong understanding of full funnel marketing tactics and channels that deliver the story to the consumer
  • Experience in understanding and utilizing consumer insights, sales metrics, pop culture, consumer trends and other inputs to inform briefs
  • Is and remains up to date on marketing trends and best practices across digital and traditional media, owned and partner channels
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.  Can present strategy and plans catered to various audiences of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence
  • BS in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent experience
  • Interest and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where change is constant and evolution a part of our core DNA
  • 5-7 years marketing management experience
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,610-$110,500 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Work Environment 
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This onsite position is based in Burbank, CA.
